HealthNutriHub ("we", "our", "the site") is operated by Rakesh Narayan from Helsinki, Finland, and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish data protection law.

1. What data we collect

Analytics

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to collect anonymous usage data — pages visited, time on page, device type, and general location (country/city level). This data helps us understand how people use the site so we can improve it. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. This data is used only to respond to your enquiry. It is not shared with third parties, used for marketing, or stored longer than necessary.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address via Formspree. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We will never sell or share your email address.

2. Cookies

We use a cookie consent banner on your first visit. You can choose to:

  • Accept all cookies — enables Google Analytics tracking via Google Tag Manager
  • Decline non-essential cookies — the site remains fully functional; only essential cookies (none currently used) are set

Your preference is stored in your browser's localStorage for 12 months.

3. Third-party services

  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — only loaded if you accept cookies. Subject toGoogle's Privacy Policy.
  • Formspree — used to process contact form and newsletter submissions. Subject toFormspree's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Pages — site hosting. Cloudflare may log server-level access data as per their privacy policy.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi)

To exercise any of these rights, use our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

5. Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months or until the enquiry is resolved. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings (14 months by default).

6. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
